Greensboro Free Library is dedicated to being a free and open resource for the community. We rely on volunteers and donations to keep the doors open and the collections current.
We are humbly grateful for the generous support of our community. Have you considered including Greensboro Free Library in your legacy giving? Please contact Becky Arnold at [email protected] if you would like information for providing a will provision, IRA designation, or other means of deferred gift.
Volunteering at the Library
Our volunteers cover our circulation desk, greet patrons, and check out books. They also help with shelving, processing interlibrary loans, preparing donated books for our collection or book sale, setting up for programs, and selecting books and movies for displays. It’s not all work though; we often talk books with patrons, share community stories and share laughs. Volunteers, you are our heart, and we love you for it. Give the us a call at 533-2531 if you’d like to become a volunteer.
